Harvest Season Arrives

September brings the first glimpse of fall and the promise of a full season of golden leaves, juicy red apples, fresh-baked pies and hikes through the forest. Our extended fall hours begin September 6.

AppleJack Festival

September 20 – 21, 9AM – 7PM

No one celebrates the apple harvest like Arbor Day Farm! This is the kick-off event to a full fall of apples and adventure! Highlights include: U-Pick apples, Tent Event with expert wine, food and nature demonstrations, antique apple tasting, Discovery Rides to the Preservation Orchard, tree climbing, artisan craft show and much more. Apple Harvest & U-Pick

Daily, through October

Walk through the orchards and pick your own crisp apples from the trees at the Tree Adventure. Or, let us pick the best for you. Many varieties available by the sack or box at the Apple House. Take home plenty for pie baking and apple sauce making. Read more about our apple varieties.

Discover Fall Day Trip

Daily

Enjoy the apple harvest and fall colors with the new Discover Fall Package, that includes: the Tree Adventure, Discovery Ride, tree seedling, lunch at the Timber Dining Room, and apple pie or wine tasting at the Apple House.

• Monday through Saturday — $32.
• Sunday — $37.
• Children 3 to 13 — $19.
• Children 2 and under — free.

Discovery Ride

Daily

Uncover the secrets and the surprises of the forest. Ride under the canopy of a giant red oak leaf. Embark on a one-hour, three-mile journey through the woodland trails across the historic 260-acre Arbor Day Farm. Read more about the Discovery Ride.

Wine Tasting

Daily

Last fall’s harvest of red and white grapes has finished its delicious journey from vine to wine. Join us for Arbor Day Farm wine tasting of reds, whites and sweet fruits. Daily at the new Apple House Wine Tasting Room. Fridays and Saturdays, 5:30 to 7:30 pm, at Lied Lodge. Take home a bottle or case.

Group Outings

We’re the place for corporate family days, family reunions, birthday parties, club outings and youth groups. Your day with nature can include the Tree Adventure, Discovery Ride, Adventure Hike, wine tasting, catered meals, campfire and s’mores. Now booking summer and fall events.
